THE HOUSE
Crow's Nest Ranch Sober Living & Outpatient Services will help recovering addicts reclaim their lives by integrating physical activity, spiritual practices, and nutrition into healthy lifestyles while living, working, and volunteering in the Truckee-Tahoe region!
We are working to raise $20,000 with the total costs for the first year estimated at $300,000. With $20,000 we will be able to cover the legal advisory fees to ensure both California state compliance & HIPAA compliance, licensing fees, office rental fees, and marketing the outpatient and sober living house.
Crow’s Nest Ranch will empower residents by offering employment opportunities within the community, creating a strong foundation for their newfound healthy lifestyles. The program will prioritize the well-being of tenants and focus on accountability by providing amenities such as regular alcohol and drug testing, weekly outdoor excursions, meditation training, fitness and yoga sessions, Muay Thai boxing and Jiu-Jitsu training, direct access to farm animals, an onsite community garden, and much more.

Inspired by the memory of our founder's late mother, 'The Ranch' will offer a comprehensive long-term sober living environment for young men to reclaim their lives and an outpatient program for our entire community. The summer of 2024 marks the anticipated opening of Sober Living with the outpatient set to open in the Spring of 2024, bringing much-needed resources to our community.
Crow’s Nest Ranch Outpatient Program
We created our outpatient drug and alcohol recovery plan by curating the most pivotal aspects of the SMART Recovery program, which has empowered addiction recovery for thousands of clients for years without requiring any religious affiliation to the practice.
Crow’s Nest Ranch outpatient program offers:
- Modern, evidence-based treatments
- Individual and group addiction counseling
- Nutritional training and awareness
- Treatment planning, case management, and relapse-prevention planning
- Access To Sober Group Outings and Personal Training
Successful completion of the program results in an individual who:
- Is sober
- Understands how and why his or her life got out of control and what role substance abuse played
- Begins living a happy and fulfilling life without depending on mind-altering and mood-altering substances

We will help clients recover from the three most common forms of substance abuse:
- Illicit drugs
- Alcohol
- Habit-forming prescription drugs
Mission
Crow's Nest Ranch (The Ranch) will offer a supportive living environment to build a solid foundation that helps recovering addicts transition to society and lead happy lives. It will provide a positive, safe, and encouraging community where residents adapt to sober life through structured chores, meetings, outdoor activities, vocational learning, and the opportunity to work with farm animals on the property. The funds from this campaign will be used solely for the initial downpayment to purchase the property for The Ranch. The startup cost to buy the property and open this recovery home is estimated to be $3 million.
