Communication is everything on the mountain. Our current coaches’ radios have seen years of snow, sun, and static — and it’s time for an upgrade. Reliable, high-quality radios keep our athletes safe and our training days running smoothly. Your donation will help us replace 25 worn-out units so our coaching team can stay connected and focused on what matters most: athlete safety and success.
Our current Motorola CP200d radios have served us well for years, but after countless storms, crashes, and long Tahoe winters, they’re reaching the end of their life.
This season, we’re aiming to replace them with Motorola R2 digital/analog radios — rugged, lightweight units built for extreme weather and crystal-clear mountain communication. The R2 offers longer battery life, improved clarity, and dual analog/digital capability, ensuring our coaches can stay in sync from top to bottom, no matter the conditions.
Goal: $20,000 to purchase 25 new Motorola R2 radios for our coaching team.
