Making is for everyone at the Truckee Roundhouse!

Hi Friends & Family! I’m a proud board member at the Truckee Roundhouse makerspace—my favorite place in all of Truckee.

What is the Roundhouse? 

The Truckee Roundhouse is an immersive community makerspace that offers a place to learn, explore, use tools & be inspired by a whole community of makers. The space runs off of donations, grant funding and membership fees. 

NEW this year we have been able to offer two incredible programs for our community: 1) classes taught in Spanish language only for our Latino community and 2) senior enrichment classes, for our golden age population 

This is made possible by your donations! A donation of any size is greatly appreciated! 

In addition to our new programs, your donation helps with the following:

• SPACE EXPANSION! We have an exciting opportunity to expand to our next door space to increase the Roundhouse by 1100 sq ft, plus a loft! This will allow us to expand programming, classes & creative resources.
• Community enrichment programs & scholarships—for groups such as Tahoe Expeditionary Academy, Sierra High & Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships, Boys & Girls Club
• Affordable Membership rates—making the Roundhouse accessible to all members of our community 
• Events like the Fixit Clinic co-hosted by Keep Truckee Green, where we have helped fix and save over 1,000 lbs of household goods from being landfilled
