Hi Friends & Family! Did you see Cam's adorable soccer ball costume this Halloween? That was all made at the Truckee Roundhouse, and with upcycled fabrics all sourced from the donation fabric bins, to boot. Pun intended. ;)
What is the Roundhouse?
The Truckee Roundhouse is an immersive community makerspace that offers a place to learn, explore, use tools & be inspired by a whole community of makers. The space runs off of donations, grant funding and membership fees. A donation of any size is greatly appreciated!
Your donation helps with the following:
- Community enrichment programs & scholarships—for groups such as Tahoe Expeditionary Academy, Sierra High & Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships, Boys & Girls Club
- Affordable Membership rates—making the Roundhouse accessible to all members of our community
- Events like the Fixit Clinic co-hosted by Keep Truckee Green, where we have helped fix and save over 1,000 lbs of household goods from being landfilled
