The Grow-Your-Own educational program focuses on how to grow edible plants in our unique mountain region. We celebrate the joys and benefits of growing food in high elevation regions with hands-on gardening demos, plant selection and education tailored to our climate, and a special emphasis on watershed-friendly practices. Help us grow by donating to the program today!

- FREE expert-led education on high elevation gardening
- FREE community gathering events
- Seedling donations to local schools and community gardens
- Affordable seedlings specifically chosen for our unique mountain climate to grow in your own garden (with a goal to make them free with enough donations!)

The Grow-Your Own program is a collaboration between Slow Food Lake Tahoe, the UCCE Master Gardeners of Lake Tahoe, and the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center.
